We really owe the French for a lot of culinary favourites here in North America and not least of which would be the much-loved Beef Bourguignon. So rich and satisfying, ours is prepared in the traditional way, slowly braising beef in red wine and stock amongst a bouquet of fresh herbs. We turned our version into a pot pie because...well, why wouldn't you?
Beef, Red Wine, Onion, Carrot, Garlic, Mushrooms, Tomato Paste, Fresh Herbs, Bacon, Flour, Beef Stock, Puff Pastry.
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Cook uncovered for approx. 40 minutes or to an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Rest a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
